Thanos Medical

Thanos Médical is developing a smart rehabilitation strap built into a power-assisted standing wheelchair. The strap is a multisensory textile fitted with connected sensors. It measures tension, posture, pressure and movement in real time, and sends the data to a secure mobile app where the clinician and the patient follow therapeutic progress.

The product

The team is designing an instrumented textile strap that fits into the power-assisted standing wheelchair. The sensors record tension, posture, pressure and movement during the exercise, then send them to a secure mobile app. The clinician keeps the reading of the data and the personalized follow-up of their patient. Development is carried out with the École de technologie supérieure, under the supervision of Mariia Zhuldybina.
