Technologies RE-AK makes multimodal biometric glasses and the emotional and cognitive analysis algorithms that go with them. Together they form a wearable biometric platform that captures emotional and cognitive signals in real time. It is for user experience design teams, neuroscience research and immersive experience designers, and it replaces bulky neuroscience equipment.

Product design is done today without an emotional reading. The tools that can provide one come from neuroscience: they are bulky, and the data they produce stays scattered.

The product

The team is designing the Nucleus-Hermès headset and the layer of algorithms that interprets its measurements. The headset sets up quickly and sends reliable data while the person uses the product being studied.

What it changes in practice

• Emotional reaction becomes part of product design, because it is measured at the moment of use.
• Setup time goes down, because the headset takes the place of bulky neuroscience equipment.
• The data stops being scattered, because capture and analysis fit in the same platform.
