Key Milestones by Month
January: Secured crucial funding from the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy; established residential committee and signed first partnership with Desjardins Caisse des Technologies.
February: Launched collaboration with Millénium Québecor - Université de Montréal's Datapreneur program.
March: Rebranded with new website (garageincubation.com) and recruited first incubee, CortechSport.
April: Extended international reach by coaching Belgian startups during innovation week in Liège, Belgium.
May: Officially announced funding and established advisory committee.
June: Team expansion including Daniel Meirelles de Moraes and interns.
July: Participated in Startupfest, recruited three startups.
September: Distributed six incubation bonds and two structural project grants; Laurence Audette-Lagueux promoted to Deputy Director.
October: Launched Quebec's hardtech community (160 attendees) with Desjardins support.
November: Attended Toronto Hardtech Summit.
December: Launched Coach Guide and Garage Academy; Christian Beaubien received Mentor of the Year award.
